This Policy applies to all users of the BOOKYOURCARAVAN Platform, whether you’re a Driver, Rider, or someone simply browsing our offerings (“you” or “your”). “Services” refer to any features or functionalities BOOKYOURCARAVAN provides as outlined in the terms and conditions you agreed to when accessing the Platform.
1. User Acceptance
1.1. By using the BOOKYOURCARAVAN Platform or Services, you’re acknowledging and agreeing to this Privacy Policy. These updates will always be in line with current laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and any relevant rules (“The Law”). 2.2 “Services” refers Caravan provided by BOOKYOURCARAVAN.
2.3 “BOOKYOURCARAVAN Platform” refers to the BOOKYOURCARAVAN mobile applications and website used to access our Services.
2.4 “Drivers” refers to individuals providing transportation services using their own vehicles through the BOOKYOURCARAVAN Platform.
2.5 “Customer” shall mean a person who wishes to receive services of the Driver or Vendor Partners on the BOOKYOURCARAVAN Platform.
2.6 “Device” shall mean computer, mobile, tablets or other device used to access the Services.
2.7 “Device Identifier” shall mean IP address or other unique identifier of the Device.
2.8 “Promotion” shall mean any contest and other promotions offered by us.
2.9 “TPSP” shall mean a third-party service provider.
3. What Information Do We Collect?
3.1 Information You Provide to Us
(a) Personal Information
We gather information to provide a smooth and secure experience while using BOOKYOURCARAVAN. (i) Account Information This includes your name, email address, phone number, and password.
(ii) Saved Information
Any additional information you choose to save in your account profile.
(iii) Verification Information
Copies of government-issued identification documents, aadhar card, driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
(iv) Background Check Information provided to us during background checks.
(v) Other Apps
Information from other apps that you choose to link to your BOOKYOURCARAVAN account.
(vi) Other Information
Any other information you provide to us through customer support, feedback, or other communications.
3.2 Information We Collect as You Access and Use BOOKYOURCARAVAN
(a) Transaction Information
Details of your trips, including pick-up and drop-off locations, distance traveled, and payment transaction information.
(b) Location Data
(i) Drivers
Location data is collected when the BOOKYOURCARAVAN App or website is running in the foreground or background on your mobile device.
(ii) Usage Information
Information on how you interact with the BOOKYOURCARAVAN App or website, including your browser type, referring URL, areas visited, and usage behavior.
(iii) Health-related Information
Any health information you provide or is required by regulations for safe transport services.
(iv) Device Information
Technical information about your device, such as the Device Identifier, preferred language, country, manufacturer, software, and model, operating systems, versions, geolocation, and mobile network data.
(v) SMS/Text Messages
Information from SMS or text messages, including OTPs.
(vi) Call Details
Information about calls made through the BOOKYOURCARAVAN App or website, including time, date, and duration.
(vii) Other Information
Any other information collected automatically as you use the BOOKYOURCARAVAN App or website.
(viii) Cookies
Information collected through cookies to improve user experience and track usage patterns.
3.3 Information Third Parties Provide About You
We may gather information from search engines, payment processors, and even publicly available sources like marketing lists and social media (with proper permissions).
4. Use of Information Collected
Our primary objective in collecting your information is to enhance your experience when using our Services. The information we gather is used for the following purposes in accordance with this Policy:
4.1 Access to Platform
To enable you to access the BOOKYOURCARAVAN Platform and Services.

To monitor which features of the Services are used most, allow you to view your trip history, rate trips or bookings, and identify features that need improvement. To send you a welcome email/SMS to verify your username and password, provide the correct app version depending on your device type, and for troubleshooting and, in some cases, marketing purposes.
4.5 System Administration
To help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the BOOKYOURCARAVAN Platform.
4.6 Service-Related Announcements
To send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when necessary. For example, if our Services are temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. You can deactivate your account if you do not wish to receive these communications.
4.7 Policy and Terms Enforcement
To prevent, discover, and investigate violations of this Policy or any applicable terms of service or terms of use.
4.8 Security
To identify and detect security breaches or attacks, errors, fraud, money laundering, abuse, and other criminal activities, and to investigate and take appropriate remedial action.
4.9 Information Sharing
We provide some of your Personal Information (such as your name, pick-up address, and contact number) to the Driver or Vendor Partner who accepts your request for Services so that they may contact and find you.
4.10 Information Sharing with Customers
If you are a Driver, we may share your name, vehicle number, driving license number, phone number, profile picture (if applicable), and tracking details with Customers to provide Services.
4.11 Service Provision and Marketing
(a) Information or Services
To provide you with information or services or process transactions you have requested or agreed to receive, including sending electronic newsletters or providing special offers or promotional materials.
(b) Service Features
To enable you to participate in various features of the Services, such as sweepstakes, contests, or other promotions.
(c) Contacting You
To contact you regarding your use of the Services and, at our discretion, changes to the Services or policies.
(d) Internal Business Purposes
For internal business purposes and inclusion in our data analytics.
(e) Customized Experience
To enhance your user experience with the BOOKYOURCARAVAN App (or website) or Services, including customization and personalization.

BOOKYOURCARAVAN may use social media buttons and widgets. These tools might collect information about your device and activity on BOOKYOURCARAVAN. They also have their own privacy policies, so be sure to review them as well.
6.5 Data and Borders

7. Information Collected by Driver’s and Vendor Partners
Drivers and vendor partners may collect and use information as necessary to provide the Services. They are required to comply with our privacy policies and applicable laws.
8. Change of Information and Cancellation of Account
8.1 Maintaining Information Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information you provide to us, including contact details and any other personal information submitted during account registration.
8.2 Updating or Correcting Information
If there are changes to your personal information or any other data you have provided, or if you no longer wish to use our services, you may correct, delete inaccuracies, or amend your information by updating your member profile on the BOOKYOURCARAVAN platform or by contacting our support team through the email address provided. We will strive to implement the requested changes in our active databases as promptly as reasonably possible.
8.3 Modifying Communication Preferences
You have the option to modify or cancel the communications you receive from BOOKYOURCARAVAN. This can be done by following the instructions in any email you receive from us or by logging into your account and changing your communication preferences.
8.4 Impact of Information Changes on Service Access
If the updated information is insufficient or inaccurate, making it difficult for us to provide our services to you, we reserve the right to terminate your access to our services. In such cases, we will notify you in writing at your registered email address.
8.5 Account Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel your account or request that we cease using your information to provide services, please contact us through the email address provided on your trip bill, the BOOKYOURCARAVAN platform, or reach out to our Grievance Officer. Note that disabling access to certain information may result in our inability to provide some or all of the services.
8.6 Data Retention Post-Account Termination
We will retain your information, including personal data and usage data (such as geo-location, trip history, and transaction history), for as long as your account remains active and as necessary to provide you with our services. Even after your account is terminated, certain information will be retained for a period of 104 weeks . This is to resolve disputes, finalize account cancellation activities, investigate or prevent fraud, enforce our agreements, or for other legitimate business purposes. After this period, your data will either be deleted or anonymized and aggregated. The anonymized data will be used solely for analytical purposes to help us improve our services.
9. Security
We take information security seriously. That’s why we use industry-standard security practices like encryption, firewalls, and SSL technology to safeguard your information within our databases. While these measures are robust, it’s important to remember that no security system is perfect. We cannot guarantee the complete security of our databases, nor can we guarantee the complete protection of information you send over the internet or wireless connections. Ultimately, any information you transmit to us is at your own risk.
10. Information of Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 18 years . We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years .
